Ingredients
Scale
Marinade Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp dried parsley
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1½ tsp ground ginger
- 1½ tsp dry ground mustard
Main Ingredient
- 3 ribeye steaks
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together dried parsley, soy sauce, minced garlic, pineapple juice, brown sugar, ground ginger, and dry ground mustard until the mixture is well combined and the sugar has dissolved.
- Marinate the Steaks: Place the ribeye steaks inside a large ziplock bag. Pour the prepared marinade over the steaks, seal the bag securely, and turn it several times to ensure the steaks are thoroughly coated. Refrigerate the bag for up to 24 hours to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat deeply.
- Grill the Steaks: Remove the steaks from the marinade, discarding the leftover liquid. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, then cook the steaks until they reach your desired level of doneness, typically about 5 to 7 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on thickness. Let the steaks rest a few minutes before serving to redistribute the juices.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate the steaks for at least 2 hours; overnight marinating will yield the most tender results.
- Make sure to discard the used marinade; do not reuse it to avoid cross-contamination.
- You can substitute ribeye with sirloin or flank steak if preferred.
- Adjust the cooking time on the grill according to steak thickness and desired doneness.
- If you don’t have access to a grill, steaks can be cooked on a stovetop grill pan or broiled in the oven as alternatives.
