Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 1 lb cooked ham, chopped
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup shredded swiss cheese
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 chopped green onions
- 2 tsp hot sauce
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Crescents
- 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
Glaze
- ½ cup butter
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare baking dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Mix filling ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped cooked ham, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded swiss cheese, onion powder, chopped green onions, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir together until well blended.
- Assemble crescents: Separate each can of crescent rolls into 16 triangles, then cut each triangle in half lengthwise, creating two smaller triangles. Place a heaping tablespoon of the ham mixture along the long end of each triangle, then roll them up tightly into crescent shapes. Arrange the rolled crescents in the prepared baking dish, open side down.
- Prepare glaze and pour: In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Immediately pour the hot glaze evenly over the assembled crescents in the baking dish.
- Bake the crescents: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the glaze is bubbly and caramelized. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use refrigerated crescent rolls for convenience, but you can substitute homemade dough if preferred.
- Adjust hot sauce quantity to your preferred spice level or omit for a milder flavor.
- Make sure cream cheese is softened to ensure easy mixing.
- The glaze can be made ahead and reheated before pouring over crescents.
- Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
